Marlene Stegeman

Marleen Stegeman, born 1960 in the Netherlands, is a renowned artist, poet and songwriter. As an autodidact, she has been developing in these three art disciplines since she was 16 years old.

Before she started selling her work, the curator of the Frans Hals Museum in Haarlem assessed her work. His judgment was decisive for her entry into the Dutch art scene, which today is hard to imagine without her. Her works have been represented at international exhibitions in Europe for years.

Stegemann sold his first acrylic works on paper and canvas to art lovers as early as the late 1980s. In addition, she uses all kinds of material in her outstanding Mediamix sculptures. Below: driftwood and steel. Even the Dutch government bought her works for the embassies in Berlin, London and Warsaw.
