Art Open Eschweiler 2024
Art Open Eschweiler, located in the former "Primus Palast" cinema, is a truly unique experience. The raw, imperfect beauty of this lost place, "Primus Palast," immediately captivates. Where a cinema once told vivid stories, bare walls and exposed structures now bear witness to transience. Yet it is precisely this atmosphere that makes the place so unique – the works of art contrast with the crumbling facade, and the silence of the past meets the vibrant creativity of the present. Here, where the past is tangible, art finds a space that both inspires and moves.
On November 23 and 24, 2024, the gallery hosted a guest exhibition at this very lost place, featuring more than 100 works of art by artists from all over the world. The "eine-art-galerie" team would like to thank the more than 700 visitors.

Visit to Ron Weijers
On Monday, May 9, 2022, we were privileged to visit Ron Weijers' studio in Dortrecht, Netherlands. Ron has wonderful studio spaces where he paints and produces music. He has been a fixture on the Dutch art scene for years. His works, currently on display at the legendary Pulchri Studio in The Hague, are delicate pieces with his trademark organic lines.

Abigail Stern - Sumi-e art from New York
In the Far Eastern countries of Asia, the traditional art of sumi-e has a long and rich history, dating back to the ancient Zen masters. This art form, also known as "ink painting," is characterized by its simplicity, elegance, and deep connection with nature. The name "sumi-e" comes from the Japanese words "sumi" for ink and "e" for painting, and refers to the use of ink as the primary medium. Artists use traditional brushes and inkstones to create their works on rice paper or silk. Through skillful brushstrokes and the economical use of color, they create images imbued with deep aesthetics and spiritual meaning. Sumi-e art is closely linked to the principles of Zen Buddhism and emphasizes the appreciation of simplicity, emptiness, and momentaryness. Artists strive to capture the essence of a subject with a single brushstroke, capturing the energy and movement of the moment. It is not about creating an exact copy of reality, but rather about reproducing the inner spirit of the subject.
