With around 71,000 inhabitants, Aschaffenburg is an independent medium-sized town in the Bavarian administrative district of Lower Franconia, part of the Frankfurt/Rhine-Main metropolitan region and the largest city in the Bavarian Lower Main region. Since May 2023, the "eine art galerie" has also been located here. The metropolitan region is one of the economically strongest regions in Germany and is considered one of the strongholds for art collectors.
