It was printed on paper and then colored with ink and watercolors.
The sheet is mounted on cardboard and is therefore ready for framing.

Background : At the age of 26, Albrecht Dürer created a work that made him famous in one fell swoop: the woodcuts on the apocalypse. Until then, the woodcut was little more than a primitive technique for duplicating simple image content. Dürer creates sheets full of force, with scenes never seen before and unforgotten figures. The originals were published in 1498.
