Born in Curitiba-PR, Brazil, Simone has been learning art through new colors, designs and shapes since she was a child in the family studio. During her youth she attended drawing and painting workshops in search of domains and new techniques, because her passion for painting was a thing that went beyond the inner search. At that time she was looking for an art academy that could promote her necessary improvement and graduated from the Escola de Música e Belas Artes do Paraná. In 1989, at the age of 18, she was discovered by the Acaiaca Gallery in Curitiba, which definitively introduced her to the art world by participating in more than ten exhibitions and showing her works throughout Brazil. Not satisfied, shortly after graduating she decided to go to Italy, where in Florence she attended the Scuola Lorenzo de Medici and studied at the Institute of Art and Restoration at Palazzo Spinelli, where she learned the best techniques of painting and restoration.

The sensitive theme that Simone Campos addresses is expressed in romantic landscapes, enhanced and blessed by a touch of tenderness, full of movement and rhythm. The vibrancy of the colors is combined with her brand with great naturalness. The brushes are born at the end of the hand and underline and embellish the result of her full, happy and lively painting.
