Niki Hare

Niki Hare is a self-taught British artist living and working in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. After a twenty-year career in equestrian art, she returned to art with great energy and developed a unique style characterized by spontaneous layering, vibrant colors, and typographic elements. Her works, often referred to as "word paintings," combine text and image to create a visual language that expresses emotions and thoughts difficult to put into words.

Hare considers her art a visual diary that reflects personal experiences and observations. Layering colors and text creates works that address both the visible and the invisible, inviting viewers to develop their own interpretations.

Her work has been exhibited internationally, including in the UK, Germany, the US, Switzerland, and Taiwan. In addition to canvas works, she has also created large-scale murals, for example, for the Hilton Bankside in London and Area Environments in Minneapolis.
