Ute Roim

Ute Roim is an established artist from Germany whose work has been shown internationally in solo and group exhibitions. After studying interior design, Roim became interested in other art forms and their intersection with our way of life. She combines photography and painting, creating unique portraits that underline a subject's charisma and personal identity.

She says of her art: "First of all, I am overcome by a feeling of freedom. On the canvas, I am free to do what I want, when I want and how I want. The objects that inspire me leave imprints in my consciousness... travel, people, architecture, colors, words. I love photography... but it is not enough to just look at my photographs on a screen.

I need to create a connection with my photographs by using acrylic paints to create a powerful impression of modern art... My art, my style."Her technique: acrylic on canvas, or acrylic on photos... always uncomplicated, timeless, minimalist, emotionally provocative.
